I am a licensed Marriage Family Therapist (MFC 46755) with 10 years of experience. I work in private practice in Noe Valley providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I also currently hold a position as a volunteer assistant clinical professor, a faculty member and therapist for the Intensive Family Therapy Program in the Department of Psychiatry at UCSF. Part of my clinical responsibilities at UCSF have also included directing a general assessment clinic for children, adolescents, and young adults as well as supervising residents.
My approach to therapy is eclectic and has been inferred from my
experience, trainings, and education. Most importantly, therapy is a
relationship and as such it subjectively connects a therapist and a
client. It is critical for a client to be able to trust his/her
therapist so that a therapeutic alliance can develop. I strive to
